McLaren Engineering Group provided structural engineering services for the development of a 435,000 square foot, $120 million retail complex at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, CT. The Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods Casino is situated on a blasted rock podium and connects at two locations, Grand Pequot Casino and the Foxtower Casino, by a 100 foot. Not a bad little outlet mall. Be warned though, this outlet is built into the Foxwoods Casino. The outlet mall doesn't have the wide open unique one off design you see at other Tanger outlets. This place is a straight shot multi level hallway of stores. I went to the new Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and took some pictures to share with you guys. It's a really nice place and if your in driving distance of there I recommend you.

Spanning over a quarter mile, The Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods is the newest addition to the well-known Resort & Casino. With 350,000 SF of outlet shops, the new retail development is being touted as a shopping mecca. Langan provided construction stake out services throughout the project for Standard Builders. This included establishment of survey control for the use of other contractors, locations of rock face, detailing the two existing building faces that the outlet tied into, checking concrete pours and anchor bolt locations for accuracy, and various other survey related tasks.
